Safe text pairings

Avoid

• Bright Serve Coral body text on light backgrounds.
• Light ordinary button labels on coral; use Court Navy labels.

Which version where

• Light backgrounds: the supplied full-colour logo.
• Dark backgrounds: the supplied cream horizontal logo.
• Coral backgrounds: choose the existing horizontal on-coral PNG or stacked on-coral PNG in the gallery. Don’t recolour a light-background logo.

Size and space

• Clear space: at least the height of the X on every side.
• Horizontal logo: no smaller than 140px on screen or 35mm in print.
• Stacked logo: no smaller than 90px or 25mm.

Don’t

An SVG file extension does not guarantee print-ready artwork. Confirm print quality with the brand owner before production.

Do

• Use “speed-dating” before a noun (“a speed-dating event”) and “speed dating” elsewhere (“padel speed dating”).
• Put the social afternoon first and matching second.
• Recommend padel experience and welcome friends as well as solo guests.
• Describe matching as both people choosing each other.
• Say “Come solo or bring friends” and “Only mutual picks get shared”.

Don’t

• Promise a match, or treat meeting a new partner as a match.
• Imply everyone comes alone.
• Create urgency unless the facts are confirmed.
• Stack puns or innuendo.
• Avoid “Everyone comes alone” or “We’ll find your perfect match”.

Photography

• Real people who opted in to being photographed.
• Confirm photographer rights and clearance for identifiable people before any public download.
• No stock romance or posed kisses.

Layout

• Solid colour blocks and big, left-aligned type.
• One idea per post.
• No gradients, text shadows, emoji decoration or extra padel artwork.

Use the shared 0.25rem spacing step (4px at the default browser size). For related groups, use 1rem (16px), 1.5rem (24px), 2rem (32px), 3rem (48px). Let these gaps grow with text size; collapse columns on narrow screens instead of squeezing the content.
