What is padel speed dating?
Padel speed dating mixes social padel with relaxed mingling. Play at least six rotating mixed-doubles games with a new partner each time, with points scored individually. Between games, roam between the courts and choose who to chat with, grab a drink or take a break. There are no timed dates or assigned conversation partners. Afterwards you privately pick who you’d like to see again. It’s social first, with no pressure to make a match.
How does the matching work?
After the event you privately tick who you’d like to see again. If they ticked you too, it’s a match and we send you both each other’s contact details. If not, nothing is shared.
How big are the events?
Our first event is 60 singles (30 men and 30 women) across 5 indoor courts. Each event page has its own details.
Where are the events?
Our first event is on Saturday 9 January 2027 at an indoor padel club in Surrey, and we’ll reveal the venue soon. See all dates on our events page. Singles from London, Surrey and Hampshire are all welcome.
Do I need padel experience?
Some padel experience is recommended so you can get the most out of the games. A host on every court keeps it fun and helps things run smoothly.
Do I need to bring a friend?
No. Come solo or with friends; both are welcome.
What do I wear and bring?
Sportswear and indoor-court trainers. Rackets and balls are provided.
How much will it cost?
Prices are on each event page once tickets go on sale. Rackets and balls are always included.
When do tickets go on sale?
Each event page shows when tickets are on sale. Sign up and tick the box for event emails to hear first.
What if I can’t make it after booking?
You can transfer your ticket to a friend of the same gender. Refund terms will be confirmed at booking.
Is it safe?
Everyone’s 18+, there’s a host on every court, we have a code of conduct, and contact details are only ever shared on a mutual match.
Who can join the waitlist?
The first event is for singles aged 25–35. All adults aged 18+ can register interest for future events. Joining does not guarantee eligibility or a ticket for the first event.
Is it straight-only?
Our first events are mixed doubles with equal numbers of men and women. LGBTQ+ events are on our roadmap. Join the list and tell us you’re interested.
